With AI agents emerging in many situations and platforms, organizations interested in this technology may have difficulty knowing where to start. According to AI experts, a handful of use cases have made it to the top so far.

Agentic AI will easily integrate with ERP, CRM and business intelligence systems to automate workflows, manage data analysis and generate valuable reports, says Rodrigo Madanes, global head of AI innovation at EY, a provider of advisory and tax services. AI agents, unlike some previous automation technologies, can make decisions in real time, making process automation a primary use case.

“AI agents can automate repetitive tasks that previously required human intervention, such as customer service, supply chain management, and IT operations,” says Madanes. “What sets this technology apart is its ability to adapt to changing conditions and handle unexpected inputs without manual monitoring. »
