Aivar, a Coimbatore-based AI services startup, has raised $4.6 million in a seed funding round, led by Sorin Investments, including contributions from Bessemer Venture Partners. The funds will be used to strengthen Aivar’s reach in India, the United States and the Middle East, while continuing to invest in its AI accelerators, senior talent and international delivery capabilities, according to the press release.
Aivar’s automation accelerator, Velogent, improved the contract processing system for a logistics SaaS provider. Velogent streamlines complex, document-intensive workflows by leveraging agentic AI. The logistics provider needed reliable three-way invoice reconciliation involving contracts, payment orders and invoices.
Additionally, Aivar has developed a solution for automated contract taking, analysis and agent reconciliation of documents, as well as automatic creation of records within supply chain systems.
“In less than a year, we’ve confirmed that businesses need more than AI tools: they need partners who can execute end-to-end transformation. Our studio- and accelerator-driven approach combines the best of services and software, delivering results in weeks that traditionally took months,” said Kousik Rajendran, co-founder and CEO, in a statement.
Founded in 2024 by former AWS colleagues Kousik Rajendran, Praveen Jayakumar, Ashwin Ram Ravichandran and Aadharsh Ayappan, Aivar is an AI-focused technology services partner. The company provides fast, high-quality AI solutions to startups, technology-enabled companies, and large enterprises, backed by AWS validation and early-stage product accelerators for voice, data, and various AI/ML tasks.
Mandar Dandekar, Partner at Sorin Investments, said: “Aivar stands out by combining deep cloud expertise with native AI accelerators that help businesses move from intent to impact.
