Lemona South Korean AI startup specializing in restaurant technology, obtained $680,000 (KRW 1 billion) in Pre-Series A Funding Since D.CAMP And Bluepoint Partners. This round brings the company’s total funding to $1.16 million (KRW 1.7 billion). Bluepoint Partners participated in both the seed round and this follow-on investment.

Since its establishment in 2023, Lemong has established itself as a leading AI service provider for the Korean restaurant industry with its proprietary Luminir AI technology. The company serves more than 15,000 small restaurant businesses alongside major franchise chains including Lotteria (operated by Lotte GRS), Goobne Chicken and Pizza Hut.

The startup achieved profitability in its first year and maintained positive cash flow for two consecutive years while growing its customer base by over 300% annually, demonstrating sustainable growth and strong financial fundamentals.

Lemong’s flagship product Daetgulmong, an AI-based review management solution, has captured the largest user base among restaurant AI services in Korea. The company’s recently launched CRM solution for franchise headquarters, Daetgulmong Biz, has rapidly gained traction since its debut seven months ago, securing around 20 franchise chains, including Lotteria, Bon Group, Pizza Hut and Goobne Chicken, as clients.

The new capital will fund the completion and enhancement of Bizmong, an all-in-one marketing automation service currently in proof-of-concept testing. Built on Agentic AI technology, Bizmong provides small business owners with personalized advice, automated content generation, marketing channel recording, and performance analytics.

“D.CAMP’s investment validates both our technology and business growth potential,” said co-CEOs Heeyong Lee and Bohyung Kim. “This funding will allow us to become the first AI company in the restaurant market. »
