Generative AI company Anthropic announced Thursday that he raised $30 billion as part of a massive Series G funding round that values it at $380 billion post-money. This financing constitutes the largest venture financing deal of 2026 to date and the second largest of all time, according to Crunchbase datafollowing only his rival OpenAIIt is Funding of $40 billion in 2025.

Anthropogenic growth
Anthropic says its current revenue now stands at more than $14 billion, a figure it says has grown 10-fold per year in each of the last three years since it “earned its first dollar of revenue.”
The number of customers spending more than $100,000 per year on Claude (as represented by current revenue) has increased 7-fold over the past year, the company added.
Anthropic says this investment will fuel cutting-edge research, product development and infrastructure expansion.
“Whether they are entrepreneurs, startups or the world’s largest companies, the message from our clients is the same: Claude is becoming more and more critical of how businesses operate,” said Krishna RaoCFO of Anthropic, a declaration. “This fundraising reflects the incredible demand we are seeing from these customers, and we will use this investment to continue to develop the enterprise-grade products and models they depend on.” »
