Artificial intelligence startup SambaNova Systems Inc. plans to raise up to $500 million after sale negotiations to Intel Corp. stalled, according to people familiar with the matter.
SambaNova is now seeking between $300 million and $500 million from other technology companies and semiconductor makers, among other investors, said the sources, who asked not to be identified because the details are not public.
