Singapore, Singapore, February 16, 2026, FinanceWire

91 Branding & Marketing announced that Scout by PipelineAI, its AI-powered customer awareness platform, participated in the AI Festival Asia 2026, held on January 22-23 at the DBS Foundation Theater. The event highlighted the growing interest in agentic AI and practical adoption of artificial intelligence among small and medium-sized businesses (SMEs).

The two-day festival brought together hundreds of SME owners, policymakers, AI founders and industry practitioners to examine how artificial intelligence can be applied to everyday business operations. Scout’s participation reflects the growing demand for AI solutions designed to go beyond experimentation and support measurable business outcomes.

Filled Fireside Chat on Continuing AI Awareness

Scout founder Pulse Tan spoke at the sales and marketing fireside chat titled “Always on: Using AI Agents to Run Sales and Marketing Workflows for SMBs.” » The session was fully registered, with over 250 SME owners registered to attend.

During the discussion, Tan explained how agentic AI systems like Scout are transforming digital marketing by enabling always-on awareness that targets true customer intent signals found in public user-generated content on social platforms. Unlike traditional content-driven approaches, Scout focuses on identifying and engaging customers based on their actual consumption behavior and expressed needs.

A key theme highlighted was simplicity and accessibility. Scout is designed to require approximately 10 minutes of human-in-the-loop (HITL) review per day, allowing business owners and marketing teams to maintain ongoing awareness without complex technical infrastructure or deep AI expertise. This makes the platform suitable for micro-SMEs as well as large organizations operating across multiple outlets or brands.

“The litmus test for AI adoption in SMEs is whether it increases your revenue,” Tan said. “There are hundreds of AI tools, but Scout is developed as an AI agent that systematically identifies and engages potential customers for you – and it does it for a fraction of the cost of hiring a digital marketer.”

Strong interest from SMEs from all sectors

Scout’s exhibit booth was busy throughout the festival, with dozens of SME owners expressing interest in exploring the applications of agent outreach for their businesses. Interest spans multiple sectors, including food and beverage, retail, wellness and FMCG, reflecting high relevance in consumer-facing sectors.

Convenient and Brand-Safe AI Adoption

Scout works as an AI-assisted awareness system that:

  • Identifies relevant public conversations and user-generated content aligned with a company’s target customer profile
  • Delivers personalized, brand-safe engagement touchpoints
  • Ensures all actions remain human-approved, maintaining compliance, tone control and brand integrity.

This approach allows businesses to convert existing demand signals into real conversations and sales without increasing headcount or relying solely on paid media or content production.

Government support for eligible SMEs

Scout deployments in Singapore are eligible for government support schemes, with eligible SMEs able to offset up to 90% of deployment costs, subject to current scheme criteria.
