Innovative Korean flower distribution startup FLO-SALON got pre-series A follow-up funding CNTTech. FLO-LOUNGE is a O2Ofloral technology company based on solving the structural inefficiencies of the Korean floral industry through AI-demand forecasting technology powered by proprietary distribution infrastructure.


Founded in 2021, FLO-LOUNGE operates a premium flower delivery service “FLO-LOUNGE”, a flower subscription brand “Florano” and a fresh flower wholesale distribution platform “FLO-LOUNGExBiz”, which simultaneously reach the B2C and B2B markets. The company has forged a differentiated positioning by creating a new distribution category of “guaranteed quality flower delivery” based on systems of scheduled metropolitan delivery and national delivery on weekends and public holidays. FLO-LOUNGE also carries fresh flowers through major retail channels, including major supermarkets and distance selling networks, pushing flowers beyond special occasions into everyday consumer goods.
FLO-LOUNGE leverages AI-driven demand forecasting to purchase fresh flowers at optimal prices and extends flower shelf-life periods up to 3 times with proprietary fresh flower refrigeration and coating technologies. With this technological foundation, the company has penetrated more than 50 distribution channels, including Lotte and Hyundai Home Shopping, E-Mart and Homeplus supermarkets, as well as online platforms. A proof of concept in Incheon delivered 162% revenue growth and 5% cost reduction in three months.
From day one, FLO-LOUNGE has pushed digital transformation throughout the flower distribution process by creating an integrated online and offline platform. In 2022, the company was recognized for its technology and growth potential through its selection for the Early-Stage Startup Package program of the Ministry of SMEs and Startups and certification as a venture capital company (innovative growth type). In 2023, FLO-LOUNGE expanded its business portfolio through the registration of a flower display device patent, the acquisition of the subscription service “Florano” and the selection as an agricultural and food business development company.
In 2024, the company improved its distribution channels and R&D capabilities by obtaining flower wholesale qualification, pre-Series A financing and selection for the TIPS R&D project from the Ministry of SMEs and Startups. In 2025, FLO-LOUNGE achieved E-Mart supplier status for flowers and potted plants, was recognized as an outstanding agriculture and food company and women-focused accelerated startup, and closed this follow-on investment from CNT Tech. This investment takes on particular weight since it appeared within the framework of the agricultural and food business development support program of the Korea Food, Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries Education, Promotion and Information Service Agency.
