Respondents Support Using Artificial Intelligence to Search Literature, Share Data, and Find Funding
Three priority areas for the artificial intelligence tools most sought after by the research sector have emerged from a global consultation: documentary research, data preparation and sharing, and funding opportunities.
The consultation was led by the Research Data Alliance, a global infrastructure body, and US software giant Microsoft, who reported their findings on January 8. The process included online briefings and an anonymous survey focused on 11 AI tools proposed in previous engagements with the UK research sector.
