Infosys has expanded its strategic collaboration with ExxonMobil to deploy advanced immersion cooling and AI-enabled solutions to improve energy efficiency and sustainability of data centers.

February 13, 2026. By Mrinmoy Dey

Infosys announced the expansion of its strategic collaboration with ExxonMobil to develop and deploy its ExxonMobil data center immersion fluid suite, which improves energy efficiency and maximizes the use of available energy. This initiative builds on Infosys’ commitment to energy innovation, decarbonization and cross-sector alliances.

Leveraging ExxonMobil Data Center Immersion Fluids, Infosys Topaz, a set of AI-driven services, solutions and platforms using generative AI technologies, and Infosys Cobalt, a set of services, solutions and platforms enabling enterprises to accelerate their journey to the cloud, the collaboration will enable the development and deployment of high-efficiency cooling systems capable of meeting the growing demands of AI and high-performance computing (HPC) workloads.

Infosys Topaz will enable real-time optimization of cooling operations, ensuring smarter energy usage, predictive maintenance and scalable, reliable and sustainable infrastructure. In parallel, Infosys Cobalt will provide a secure and scalable foundation for deploying these solutions across cloud and data center environments, ensuring seamless integration and operational excellence for enterprise customers.

Additionally, Infosys will focus on scalable solutions for hyperscalers, global enterprises and public sector organizations in sectors such as financial services, telecommunications, manufacturing, energy and government.

Ashiss Kumar Dash, Executive Vice President and Global Head of Services, Utilities, Resources, Energy and Corporate Sustainability at Infosys, said: “Our expanded collaboration with ExxonMobil marks a crucial step in scaling next-generation solutions. Leveraging Infosys Topaz for real-time AI-driven optimization and Infosys Cobalt for secure, scalable cloud deployment with ExxonMobil’s advanced energy expertise, we are addressing the urgent need for more efficient, high-performance digital infrastructure. This collaboration has the potential to deliver measurable results by reducing data center energy costs and carbon emissions, while enabling businesses to scale responsibly and meet the demands of an AI-powered future.

Alistair Westwood, Head of Global Marketing at ExxonMobil Product Solutions Company, said: “This collaboration reflects our commitment to innovation by enabling us to apply our expertise in energy and thermal management to the evolving digital infrastructure landscape. Infosys’ suite of AI and digital services enables us to drive and adopt smarter, more efficient and more resilient infrastructure.”
