Karjat (Maharashtra) (India), December 5: Universal Ai University, India’s premier artificial intelligence university, recently successfully hosted the International Case Studies Conference 2024 at its green campus in Karjat, near Mumbai. This two-day hybrid conference, titled “The Dynamics of Green Technologies Shaping Sustainable Business Landscapes,” received massive response globally. Universities including McFam University, Strathmore University Kenya, Chitkara University Punjab India, Case Center UK, Southern Methodist University (SMU) Lyle School of Engineering Texas USA, Astana International University Kazakhstan were the conference partners.
The conference began with an inauguration ceremony led by Dr. Simon Mak, Vice-Chancellor of Universal University of AI, and Dr. Asha Bhatia, Dean of Research and Doctoral Programs of Universal University of AI. AI, paving the way for two days of knowledge exchange and innovation.
Prominent speakers from various fields such as Ms. Vicky Lester, CEO of The Case Centre, UK, Professor (Dr) Aigerim Ibrayeva, Director of the Center for International Relations and Sustainable Development, Astana International University, Kazakhstan, the Professor Sunil Murlidhar Shastri, FRGS FRSA Consultant, Ocean and Environmental Governance Consultant, UK, Prof. (Dr) Nader Jalili, Dean, SMU Lyle School of Engineering, Texas, USA, Prof. (Dr) Amit Mittal, Mr. Shailesh Joshi, Co-Founder and Director of ENCOSYM Solutions Private Limited, shared his insights on varied topics.
The conference included the presentation of 56 compelling case studies in six areas covering finance, strategy, social entrepreneurship, marketing, human resources and supply chain management. Participants from various universities and external institutions presented innovative solutions to real-world challenges, making the sessions highly engaging and informative.
Followed by a cultural program, SMU Lyle School of Engineering, the conference sponsor led the presentation of awards at the awards ceremony. The Dean, Professor (Dr) Nader Jalili personally presented the best paper awards in all categories. In the Faculty category, Dr. Rohit Oak and his team members, Shibani Das and Hritankar Roy won USD 250 as the first best paper prize, while Dr. Vandana Tandon Khanna, Dr. Ram Kishen Y and Tanya Sinha got second position and won 200 USD. In the student category, the team of Sahil Patel, Piyush Patel and Jatin Goyal won USD 200 as prize for the first best paper, while Syed Parvez and Samruddhi Vadgave secured second place and won USD 100.
Dr. Asha Bhatia, Dean of Research and PhD Programs at AI Universal University, expressed her sincere gratitude to all the participating universities for their support. She highlighted the significant contributions of presenters and institutions in making the event a resounding success. Next year’s conference theme, announced at the event, is “Beyond Imagination: AI-Driven Pathways to a Sustainable Future”, reflecting Universal AI’s commitment University to promote sustainability through innovation and technology.
Partnership with LTI Mindtree to launch B. Tech. Program in AI&ML, Data Science
In another significant development, Universal AI University recently partnered with LTIMindtree, a global technology consulting and digital solutions company, to jointly launch a B. Tech. program in AI & ML and Data Science.
As part of this academic and industry partnership, Universal AI University and LTIMindtree have introduced a cutting-edge and industry-oriented B. Tech. curriculum. This program aims to turn Universal AI University tenured students into industry-ready professionals in 3.5 years, compared to the industry standard of 4.5 years. Remarkably, AI Universal University welcomes over 25% of its enrollment from northern India, including Uttar Pradesh, and a similar number of students from eastern and northern states -eastern India.

This new program has been planned in accordance with the New Education Policy (NEP). LTIMindtree will extend its expertise to conduct live projects, guest lectures, workshops and required academic interventions.
